Are you kennel-free?
Yes. Every guest enjoys a private room (no crates or kennels) and an attached patio for fresh air and relaxation.
What services do you offer?
Luxury boarding, dog daycare, professional grooming, positive-reinforcement training, and a Pet Taxi for pick-up and drop-off.

Do you have webcams?
Not at this time. We send daily photos and updates so you always know how your dog is doing.
Can multiple dogs from the same family share a room?
Yes. We welcome siblings to share a room when appropriate. Additional-guest pricing applies—see our Rates page.
What vaccinations are required?
We require current core vaccines per your veterinarian’s schedule (typically Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, and Bordetella). Please provide records before check-in.
What are check-in and check-out hours?
We offer convenient drop-off and pick-up windows every day from 8 AM to 5 PM. Please see our Hours page or call us for the most current times.
Do you provide enrichment or daily activities?
Yes. Guests enjoy rotating daily activities—play sessions, sniffaris, splash time (weather-permitting), cuddle/quiet time, and more. It’s all included.
Do you offer transportation?
Yes—our Pet Taxi can pick up and return your dog across North Texas. Call or request it when booking.

What do you provide when boarding?
We provide beds, bowls, and high quality food and snacks, but we encourage you to bring your dog's regular food divided into individual meals in zip lock bags so we can avoid upset tummies.
What is your lifetime support guarantee in connection with dog training?
After a dog has graduated from our 30-day training program, if any new issues develop, or you just want a tune-up,we are happy to provide free lessons. These lessons are by appointment only, and the owner must participate. In cases where the owner cannot participate, the cost is $39 per session.
Will my dog be happy and well cared for?
Our guests are treated like royalty at PlayStayTion Pet Resort. Your dog will be well cared for and pampered. Our pet resort is like camp for dogs!
What does 40 years of training really mean to me?
It means that your pet is in the capable hands of someone with vast experience, who has many different ways of achieving results depending on how your pet likes to learn. Years of experience also produces great timing, making it easy for your pet to get the fast feedback they need to succeed.
Does your dog training "break their spirit" or "kill their will"?
No, we use positive reinforcement training that's fun for dogs! Learning manners only enhances the relationship between you and your dog. Dogs with good manners are included in more activities, allowed more freedom and have more fulfilling lives.
Will my dog remember me?
We have found that the owners have a harder time being away from the dog than the dog has being away from the owner. Here at school, the doggies are very busy all day long. Although they learn so much while they are here, they also have plenty of time to exercise and play. Your dog will absolutely remember you after attending school.
Can I visit my dog during training?
Absolutely! You can come visit your dog anytime while he or she is training with us. No appointments necessary. We are very proud of our operation and invite you to "drop in" on us anytime. However, if you'd like to work with the trainer and your dog, we suggest making an appointment.
What kind of training techniques do you use?
We use positive reinforcement training that's fun for dogs! Our trainers are some of the highest credentialed in the nation. We are not a one size fits all training school. We get to know you and your dog. Every training session is tailored to your dog's unique personality combined with your wants and needs.
Will my dog listen to me when it's been trained by someone else?
Yes, we have several trainers at PlayStayTion. Your dog will have training sessions with all of them, so that he/she doesn't get used to just one person. Afterwards, you'll recive an intensive, one on one private lesson when your dog graduates. During this time , you will have as much hands on practice with your dog as you need, so that your dog is responding appropriately to your commands.
Will my dog listen to me during distractions?
Yes! After we teach your dog the basic commands and we know that he/she completely understands them, we add distractions. We use food on the ground, loose dogs, other people, vehicles and horses as distractions. Your dog will learn to ignore everything else but your command.
