“ Thank you for providing such a wonderful place for our dogs. Lumi and Buckley came for a 4 day stay while we took a trip to Galveston. I was really worried about Lumi as she has a lot of anxiety issues. We've had her less than a year, and her adjustment from apartment life has been rough. Meanwhile, Buckley is a such a momma's boy - he HATES it when I leave and he doesn't like leaving his personal wildlife refuge where he is leash free all the time. I didn't need to worry. I could see by the daily pics that they were getting a lot of TLC and having fun with other dogs. When I came to pick them up, Lumi went back for extra hugs from one of her caregivers. That told me everything! She was comforted and loved to help her adjust - especially with thunderstorms while she was there. I'll be sending her back for day care to help continue boosting her confidence. I want you to know how much Brandi helped Lumi. She went out of her way to love Lumi and build a relationship with her and help ease all of her anxieties. She's a keeper.”

“ We absolutely love this place, it’s basically a luxury hotel for our pups! They have daily activities (train rides, pool time, paw painting, playground, etc) and snack time, that all the dogs love! It’s a very simple drop off/pick up process. Simple online booking service and easy to add services such as grooming etc. They take the time to love on and get to know your dogs and focus on the things important to you. We just picked up our pups from a scheduled 4 day stay. I had to book an extra day at the last minute, and it was as simple as a quick phone call and they had no issues keeping them an extra day. I’ve truly enjoyed all of their services.”

“ r pup needed help. I cried a lot with Anthem, I was so afraid I was going to have to send her back to the rescue but, absolutely refused that to be an option until we did everything possible. We adopt for life. Anthem has been awesome at sit, shake, stay she is an extremely smart and receptive pup but, she was awful to walk. She didn’t lay around the family much, she never came seeking attention. The biggest problem of all was she occasionally attacked my small female cat. After one such attack, we knew something had to be done. Anthem has always been a good dog but, she lacked confidence. She had fear of almost everything. I am not sure she knew where she fit in. We didn’t know how to help her. Her separation anxiety was awful. The local trainers are all part time trainers and work during the day, which would not have helped her. I did a lot of research. I searched Texas and Arizona. After talking to Vicki at PlayStaytion that was it. The PlayStayion staff loves the dogs. Anthem sits, stays, heels. Walks on the leash like a dream. When we stop to talk to our neighbors or they come over she doesn’t jump on them or bark for more then a couple of mins. She doesn’t cower at all. The very BEST thing we were trained is “bubbling” what we don’t want Anthem messing with (ie; kitty). It is an invisible force field and Anthem was trained and continues to be trained bubbling. Our 17 year old son thinks that is the coolest thing he has ever seen. She doesn’t even come close to the kitty! We even had a cat adopt us, she is an outside cat, she is also bubbled and Anthem doesn’t bother with her either. Anthem still has separation anxiety and always will but, it is better. The training from PlayStaytion was the best thing ever. The cost. The 10 hour drive one way and training for one hour and spending time with Anthem then to drive back 10 hours. every weekend was worth every single bit! Anthem is doing amazing! Vicki and PlayStayion also off a lifetime service so if problems creep up they are always there! I would recommend PlayStayion a thousand times over! The training not only helped us as a family, the training helped Anthem in ways I cannot even express! She has confidence, she lays around the family. I will also say, we lost Bella whole Anthem was in training. We have always been a two dog family. I have never in my life not had a dog. The house felt empty. We decided to adopted another dog. We tried an adult dog, also in training at the same time as Anthem but, she was not receptive when the other dog came in the meet us. Vicki recommended a puppy! We started looking and oh my goodness, love at first site, we saw Guthrie, now Finn and instantly fell in love. Decided we were committing to two puppies. Best decision! Finn and Anthem are buddies. They play together, they lay together, they share toys. First thing Anthem does when she is let out of her kennel is going to her brothers kennel. Finn is teaching Anthem how to be a puppy and it is an amazing site!”

Fast forward to his reserved training time and he’d had a surgery and needed extra care during recovery. Not only do they give your dog the basics they give you a framework for success when you take your dog home and teach you how to better communicate with your dog. “ My beagle Lilly stayed there for a month. I only had her for a couple of months and she was food aggressive with my other beagle and attacked her drawing blood. She was stubborn and pushy. Dustin did a great job with her and we came there almost every day to visit. Our 2 other dogs came in so all 3 could work together on the food aggression. Lilly is so much happier and minds so much better and I don’t have to feel so nervous that she will go after one of my other dogs. She is a work in progress as am I. “ My dog, Cooper, was boarded for 9 days, as I had a vacation and did not have any other options. This was the first time I had ever boarded him, and I was worried what effect it might have on him, as he is somewhat attached to me and the family. No need to worry! I saw pictures of my guy each day occupied in some sort of activity, such as playing by the pool, barn hunt, agility course, chasing a toy on a zip line (like those used for greyhounds), and playing with other dogs in the playground. He got a lot of time outside of his kennel, and got to play in lots of games. To say the least the staff kept him engaged! When I returned to pick him up, I thought he might show some anxiety because of the length of the separation. However, he didn't exhibit any of that - he came up to me and said hello as if I had only been gone for a few hours! All staff members told me about Cooper, describing his personality, what he liked to do, particular abilities, etc. It was genuine and made it clear to me that he was not ignored, but rather taken very good care of. Since then, I have signed up for a training course there. I am very impressed with the class. Cooper is always happy to go to the training because he gets to see members of the staff. I can tell Cooper knows who they are and he is fond of them. If you are looking for a boarding option, you should make a visit there. The facilities are first class. Thanks you PlayStayTion Pet Resort & Training. I will not take my dog to any other facility for boarding.”
